365 days of SilverPoint . It’s our anniversary. Let’s 🎉 celebrate!

In a year where celebrations have seemingly been scarce, I am incredibly thankful to join my team in celebrating the one year anniversary of SilverPoint Senior Living!  When this journey began a year ago, we had no idea the challenges and changes that our world would face.  As difficult as this year has been, I must admit that even if we knew the challenges of COVID were coming, we still would have launched.  We would have launched SilverPoint because our mission is to intentionally engage our residents, families, and team in such a way that every day is better than the day before.  In a world that has seemingly gone off the rails, where people are only interested in meeting their own needs and agendas—I think a company that has tries to make other people’s days better than the day before is a vital necessity right now!

We still would have launched because we knew that residents facing isolation and loneliness would need someone to try and make today better than the day before.  We still would have launched because we knew that families who are separated from their loved one and feel helpless would need someone to come alongside them and ensure them that not only is their loved one safe, but find ways for them to connect with one another so that today is better than the day before.  We still would have launched because we knew that our team members would be facing stress of kids going to school virtually while they needed to go to work and could use an employer who would try to make their today better than the day before.

It has certainly been a year of challenges, but it was absolutely worth it!  It was worth it for the smiles we were able to put on resident’s faces, for the difference we were able to make, and for the many new friends we have made along the way.  Now, a year later, SilverPoint is preparing to add several new communities to its portfolio.  I can say confidently that we will strive to make this year better than the year before!
